PDFS

How do I view PDFs?

You will need Adobe’s Acrobat Reader in order to view PDF files.

You can download Acrobat Reader free of charge from the Adobe website.
Visit Access Adobe to find out how people with disabilities can get the most from this software.

What is a PDF?

PDF stands for Portable Document Format - this is simply a type of formatting that enables printable documents, like our Race for Life sponsorship forms, to be displayed identically on any computer system.

Our forms are available as PDFs because:

  • PDF documents always retain the "look and feel" of the original.
  • Anyone can view a PDF document, but is not able to alter it.

To read & print a PDF, you have to use a special free program called Acrobat Reader (created by a company called Adobe) - see above.

Adobe Flash

Flash is an application from Adobe which creates low-bandwidth animation and interactivity. You can view Flash movies on your browser, if you have the correct Flash Player installed.

You can download and install Flash players from the Adobe website, which also provides help using the Flash Player plug-in.  Adobe Flash players are free.
